Like any classic murder mystery, The Undoing presents a clear and logical solution to its case, only to eventually cast doubt on whether or not the prime suspect did indeed commit the murder. The theory concludes that the only reason Jonathan’s guilt is in doubt on the show is because of his status as a white, privileged male. However, a new Reddit theory points out it is pretty obvious that Jonathan Fraser is the murderer of Elena Alves: his DNA is found at the crime scene, he has motive and his behavior in the wake of the crime is a little bizarre, to say the least. HBO’s The Undoingis a whodunit - or at least it seems to be on the surface.
